This talk presents our experience using Large Language Models (LLMs) to migrate large Scala projects to Scala 3’s explicit nulls feature. We discuss challenges from previous migration attempts, enhancements we made to migration tooling, and a practical LLM-powered workflow tested on the Scala standard library, a large codebase with extensive null usage.
